12. Tennessee Volunteers

Previous week: 12

Last week: Lost to Ole Miss, 34-3

Tennessee might have lost by 31 points to Ole Miss, but that’s about what most of us expected.

Defensively, for the first 20 minutes of the game, the Vols played as well as anyone could expect. They held Ole Miss to only 37 yards of offense on their first seven possessions of the game.

But Ole Miss is the third ranked team in the nation for a reason and their stifling defense was just too much for the young Vols.

Things don’t get much easier for the Vols as they take on Alabama this Saturday.
