Butch Jones Reaffirms Commitment To Tennessee

For the second  time in two days, Butch Jones quickly and efficiently put any rumors of a jump to Michigan to rest.

The second-year Vols head coach told fans during Vol calls that he is “100% committed” to Tennessee.

Jones did the right thing by addressing the rumors and reaffirming his commitment to Tennessee. A lot of coaches would refuse to comment on any kind of coaching rumors, or they would at least give vague answers.

Tennessee’s head coach, despite the fact that he probably thought the unfounded rumors were absurd, made sure to dismiss the rumors with a direct answer, while also promising to return the Vols to glory.

Jones, as we always believed, is committed to rebuilding Tennessee and he’s well on his way to doing just that. The wins haven’t started mounting yet, but it’s obvious there’s no one that is more frustrated by the lack of wins than Butch Jones.

Eventually the Vols will have to start winning consistently. I for one, believe those wins will come sooner rather than later.

Tennessee’s on the right track, even though the journey the past few years hasn’t been the most joyous experience.
