The Tennessee Volunteers are hoping to play in front of their fourth sell-out crowd of the season on Saturday, against the Kentucky Wildcats.
Vols head coach Butch Jones, during his weekly press conference, said there are “about 1,000 tickets left” for the game Saturday.
Tennessee’s had three sell-outs so far this season: the opener against Utah State, Florida and Alabama.
Even if the Vols don’t get their fourth sell-out of the season on Saturday, it will be the first time since 2011 that Tennessee’s had over 100,000 fans in Neyland for at least four games.
The fact that the fans show up in droves for Vol football, despite Tennessee’s losing record the past few seasons, is a testament to the passion and strength of the Big Orange faithful.
