It’s not often that an SEC school openly cheers for one of their biggest rivals.
But that’s exactly what the Georgia Bulldogs are doing on Saturday.
Missouri is currently leading the SEC East. If they win out (they finish with two conference games), they win the SEC East for the second straight season.
If, however, they lose either of those games, then Georgia (who has finished their conference schedule) wins the SEC East and will make plans to travel to Atlanta the first weekend in December.
Tennessee will get the first shot at spoiling Missouri’s SEC title hopes, which means Georgia fans will be Vol fans on Saturday night.
Save that tweet, you’ll likely never see that again.
As much as it pains Georgia fans to pull for Tennessee on Saturday, winning the SEC East means a whole lot more.
