Vols Get Commitment from 3-Star 2016 Linebacker

The Vols may have lost Saturday night, but they were able to assuage the pain a little with the addition of a commitment on the recruiting front.
Emanuel Bridges, a three-star junior linebacker from Newnan, Georgia, committed to the Vols early Sunday morning, giving them their 7th known commitment in the class of 2016.
Bridges is ranked the No. 460 overall recruit in the country and No. 32 linebacker according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He holds offers from Clemson, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, and Ole Miss among others.
The 6-2, 215 lbs linebacker visited the Vols for the second consecutive weekend this weekend, and he came away impressed enough to commit, waiting only on the approval of his parents.
Bridges would be the first UT player from Newnan if he sticks with his commitment, but he certainly wouldn’t be the only one from Georgia. The Vols will look to nab several other Georgia products in the 2016 class to join Bridges.
