What we predicted:
Zach’s prediction: Texas A&M 34 LSU 30
Tom’s prediction: Texas A&M 34 LSU 24
Nathanael’s prediction: Texas A&M 27 LSU 21
Texas A&M definitely had the strangest season of anyone in the SEC West. The Aggies started the season with a bang, destroying South Carolina in Columbia. After starting the season with five straight wins, the Aggies lost three straight, culminating with a 59-0 loss to Alabama.
At that point, we all assumed Texas A&M was done. Then they went and beat Auburn. Then they lost to Missouri. So it was logical to think they’d finish the season with a big win over LSU, right?
LSU, however, had different plans. The Tigers knocked off the Aggies, giving Les Miles and his squad a chance at a sixth consecutive nine win season.
