Vols Recruiting: Mirko Jurkovic JR Offered By Tennessee
By Zach Ragan
Three-star 2015 offensive lineman Mirko Jurkovic JR was offered by the Tennessee Volunteers on Wednesday.
Jurkovic, 6’5″/275 lbs from South Bend, IN (IMG Academy — Bradenton, FL), is rated by 247Sports as the 95th best player in the state of Florida and the 48th best offensive guard in the nation.
Arkansas, Ohio State and Purdue are among the offers for the Indiana native.
Jurkovic was committed to Nebraska, but decommitted on Sunday after news broke that Bo Pelini had relieved of his duties as the Cornhuskers head coach.
Tennessee is a team that’s in dire need of some offensive line depth. But it might be hard for the Volunteers to land this one.
Jurkovic recently took an official visit to Ohio State. The Buckeyes might be the favorite to get a commitment from the three-star offensive guard.
