Vols Recruiting: Patrice Rene Offered By Tennessee

2016 four-star cornerback Patrice Rene received an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers on Monday.

Rene, 6’1″/180 lbs from Ontario, CA (St. Peter Catholic High School), is rated by 247Sports as the seventh best 2016 cornerback in the nation.

Rene currently holds notable offers from Boston College, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers and Virginia Tech, among others.

This is obviously a guy the Vols would love to land, but it will be hard to win this recruiting battle against Urban Meyer with Ohio State’s recent success.

Fortunately for the Vols, they’re well on their way to building some solid secondary depth.
