Former Vols WR Heading To Louisville
By Zach Ragan
Former Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Paul Harris is officially heading to Louisville.
Harris was a member of Tennessee’s 2013 recruiting class, Butch Jones’ first at UT.
The former three-star recruit, who was an early enrollee at Tennessee, played in five games for the Vols, catching one pass for 15 yards. Harris left UT after the 2013 season, enrolling at Iowa Western Community College.
247Sports rated Harris as the ninth best 2015 JuCo wide receiver in the nation.
Harris, during his short time at Tennessee, drew comparisons to former Vol wide receiver Justin Hunter. His 6’4″/200 lb frame was almost identical to Hunter’s.
The Maryland native certainly has plenty of potential. Louisville is definitely getting a good player.
Ironically, Harris actually played against his new coach, Bobby Petrino, during the 2013 season. Petrino was the head coach at Western Kentucky when the Vols and the Hilltoppers played in 2013.
Harris didn’t record any stats in the game, but did see the field.
