"The Vols football team has a few days off to celebrate the Christmas holidays. But the players and coaches will be excited to return next week to celebrate their trip to Jacksonville for the Taxslayer Bowl against Iowa. When it comes to all-time bowl appearances, Tennessee ranks in the top five.That’s why Coach Jones believes their four year bowl drought was an anomaly. “Tennessee football is not supposed to be home for the holidays.
