Vols Are Eating Good In Jacksonville

I have a feeling after the young Vols experience all that a Bowl Game has to offer, it’ll be a long time before Tennessee goes through another three-year Bowl drought.

Of course it helps that Tennessee is in a Bowl Game in Florida. That’s a lot better location than say Birmingham? Not sure about you, but I’d much prefer sunny Jacksonville to not-so-tropical Birmingham. But that’s just me.

The Vols and UT’s coaching staff were fortunate enough on Tuesday to enjoy a “beach party” put on by the TaxSlayer Bowl.

And the menu looked fantastic.

I’ll take the ribs with the Tennessee whiskey sauce, mac & cheese, baked beans and you best believe I’m taking full advantage of the baked potato bar (I want all the bacon bits).

But instead, I’ll have to settle for a blogger meal of whatever’s left over in the fridge from two nights ago.

It seems to me that it’s more profitable to actually play football, rather than write about football. I think I’m doing this all wrong.
