Tennessee’s second season under Butch Jones, by all accounts, was a success.

The Vols accomplished the main goal they set for themselves — reaching a bowl game — and then expounded on that goal by convincingly beating Iowa on a national stage in the Gator Bowl.

Tennessee, because of their bowl win and influx of young talent, is instantly a trendy pick to contend for the SEC East in 2015.

While that’s certainly deserved (give the Vols five points and they’re a nine win team this season), there’s still a lot to learn about who the Vols will be in 2015.

Fortunately, we got a glimpse of who team 119 will be by virtue of team 118’s win against Iowa.

Here are five things we gleaned from UT’s seventh win of the 2014 season.
