Vols Recruiting: Four-Star WR/RB Set To Visit Tennessee

Four-star 2015 wide receiver/running back/ATH Jaason Lewis will visit Rocky Top just before National Signing Day.

Lewis, 6’2″/247 lbs from Virginia Beach, VA (Ocean Lakes — the same high school as former Vol Justin Hunter), is rated by 247Sports as the second best player in the state of Virginia and the seventh best athlete in the nation.

The Virginia native committed to Arizona State on September 25.

Lewis tweeted a couple of days ago that he is 100% committed to Arizona State, so this could just be a case of a kid wanting to take his official visits.

However, getting a kid on campus is half the battle. The fact that Lewis will be in Knoxville just days before signing day, means the Vols at least have a shot at flipping Lewis.

It’s unrelated, but it’s worth noting that Butch Jones did flip Josh Dobbs from Arizona State on National Signing Day in 2013.

I think Lewis still ends up at Arizona State, but there is a chance we see some movement in Lewis’ commitment on February 4.
