10. Peyton Manning Supports His Vols
There is not a better ambassador for Vol football than Peyton Manning.
The former Vol great loves to support his alma mater. Whether it’s dropping a line about the Vols in a press conference, or dancing to Rocky Top (I suppose that’s a dance), the man loves his Tennessee football.
So it should come as no surprise that Manning spent his weekend off from quarterbacking the Denver Broncos by traveling to Athens, GA to watch the Vols take on the Georgia Bulldogs.
NFL players only get one weekend off during the season. A lot of players make their way back to their former school to take in game, but when Peyton Manning makes that trip, it definitely makes more of an impact.
