3. Tennessee Beats Vanderbilt To Become Bowl Eligible For First Time Since 2010
When Tennessee lost to Vanderbilt at Neyland Stadium in 2013, it felt like the world had collapsed around the Vols.
So you can understand why those (mostly) same Vols celebrated with everything in them after beating a not-very-good Vanderbilt team in 2014 to end the regular season.
The win against Vanderbilt was more than just beating their in-state rival. The win meant that Tennessee was going bowling for the first time since 2010.
Of course, it had to feel pretty good for the Vols to end their brief losing streak against Vanderbilt.
