Vol Commit Receives Offer From Georgia
By Zach Ragan
Four-star Vols commit Venzell Boulware received an offer from the Georgia Bulldogs on Tuesday morning.
Boulware, who is rated by 247Sports as the 55th best 2015 offensive tackle in the nation, committed to Tennessee on August 23.
The 6’4″/290 lb recruit is from Fairburn, GA (Creekside). Boulware also has notable offers from Alabama, Louisville, Ohio State and Ole Miss, among many others.
Boulware is a player that Butch Jones and the Vols definitely need to sign on February 4. He might not be the highest rated offensive tackle recruit, but you can tell by his offer list that he is indeed a legitimate offensive tackle.
And we all know how desperately Tennessee needs help at the tackle position.
Boulware won’t solve all of the Vols’ programs, but his arrival in Knoxville would definitely help Tennessee’s offensive line woes.
I don’t think the Vols have much to worry about in regards to Boulware’s offer from Georgia. I think he sticks with his commitment to Tennessee.
