10 Newcomers That Could Make An Impact For Vols In 2015

Quinten Dormady — Quarterback

Status: Enrolled
Again, these are player that could have an impact in 2015.
If things go well for the Vols in 2015, then Quinten Dormady will never see the field.
The hope for Tennessee is that Josh Dobbs, who will go into the season as the starting quarterback, will command the Vols’ offense for the entire season.
Barring injury, that should be the case.
Redshirt junior Nate Peterman, despite being the subject of recent transfer rumors, will be Dobbs’ “primary backup”. Peterman will get garbage time reps and will come in the game if Dobbs has to miss a series or two (much like he did when Justin Worley was the starter against Georgia this past season).
However, if Dobbs suffers an injury and has to be out an extended period of time, I think it’s Dormady that gets the nod.
