Kahlil McKenzie — Defensive Tackle

6’3″/354 lbs

Status: Committed

Kahlil McKenzie is one of the most highly sought after 2015 defensive tackles in the nation.

And he’s all Vol.

The son of former Vol Reggie McKenzie, along with the aforementioned Shy Tuttle, is the future of Tennessee’s interior defensive line.

McKenzie should see some playing time in 2015, though he might not see as much as Tuttle, simply because of Tuttle’s status as an early enrollee.

Tuttle will go through spring practice and strength and conditioning.

McKenize, on the other hand, will have a lot of work to do in order to get into SEC football shape by the start of the season.

But fret not, Vol fans — Kahlil McKenzie will be a star on Rocky Top.
