"College sports fans now have a new method to donate to their favorite schools, but perhaps not surprisingly, some schools are already turning their backs on the money.UBooster.org solicits donations from fans, who are presented with names, photos and biographical information for high-school athletes. Fans are asked to give money to, or “boost,” recruits that they’d like to see play for their favorite school. If the player they pledged money to selects that school, the funds, theoretically, are donated to its athletics department.Read more at The Tennessean"
