Vols Recruiting: Joshua Hammond Offered By Tennessee

2016 three-star wide receiver Joshua Hammond picked up an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers on Tuesday, according to Hammond’s Twitter account.

Hammond, 6’1″/180 lbs, is from Hallandale, FL (Hallandale). 247Sports’ composite ratings list him as the 77th best 2016 player in the state of Florida and the 99th best 2016 wide receiver in the nation.

The Florida native also holds notable offers from Duke, LSU, Louisville, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Wisconsin, among several others.

Hammond looks to be a pretty solid recruit. He’s not highly rated, but his offers (so far) suggest that programs are pretty high on him.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him garner more interest/attention as the 2015 recruiting cycle concludes and the focus shifts to 2016 recruits.
