Four-star wide receiver Van Jefferson has committed to an SEC school for the second time in five months.
After committing to Georgia in August (and then decommitting), the Tennessee native has committed to Ole Miss.
I have officially committed to The University of Mississippi. I want to thank my family, friends, and God through this process. #HottyToddy

Jefferson, a native of Nashville (Brentwood), seemed destined to leave the state of Tennessee.
It wasn’t a huge shock when he chose Georgia in August. And when he reopened his recruitment, the Vols didn’t appear to be much of a factor at all.
Butch Jones constantly preaches about “owning the state”. There’s little doubt that Tennessee has owned the state since Jones arrived, but that doesn’t mean you can get them all.
Van Jefferson is going to be a very solid college football player. Ole Miss is getting a good one.
