Vol Commit Alvin Kamara Receives Fifth Star

JuCo running back transfer Alvin Kamara, who is already enrolled at Tennessee, is now rated as a five-star recruit by 247Sports.
The Vols now have four players that are rated by 247Sports as a five-star recruit (Kahlil McKenzie, Preston Williams and Kyle Phillips are the other three).
Kamara, a former Alabama signee, is a 5’11″/195 lb running back from Norcross, GA that is rated by 247Sports as the second best 2015 JuCo player in the nation.
The talented Georgia native, along with sophomore Jalen Hurd, will give the Vols one of the most potent one-two rushing attacks in the SEC in 2015.
Hurd was forced to carry the running game on his shoulders in 2014. With Kamara on board, he won’t have to do that in 2015.
Tennessee is stocking up some elite talent for a run at the SEC East.
Alvin Kamara, one of those elite recruits, is a player that could have a Cordarrelle Patterson like impact in 2015.
Hopefully for Vol fans, he’ll decide to stick around longer than Patterson.
