Vols Recruiting: Javon McKinley Offered By Tennessee

The Tennessee Volunteers offered 2016 four-star wide receiver Javon McKinley on Tuesday evening.

McKinley, 6’2″/185 lbs, is from Corona, CA (Centennial). He’s rated by 247Sports as the 24th best 2016 player in the state of California and the 31st best 2016 wide receiver in the nation.

McKinley also has offers from Arizona, California, Colorado, Notre Dame, USC (former Vol Tee Martin is his recruiter at USC) and Washington, among several others.

Washington was the only school that McKinley visited during the 2014 season, but USC currently leads the California native’s 247Sports’ Crystal Ball predictions.

McKinley would be a great get for the Volunteers, but it will probably be tough to sway him from the west coast. The Vols need to get McKinley on campus to be a player in his recruitment.
