2015 Vol Target To Announce Decision

One of the Vols’ top remaining targets will announce where he’ll be playing college football on Thursday, according to a report from 247Sports.

Quart’e Sapp, 6’2″/200 lbs from Alpharetta, GA (Milton), is a four-star outside linebacker.

247Sports rates Sapp as the 31st best 2015 player in the state of Georgia and the 21st best outside linebacker in the nation.

Sapp, who is expected to announce his decision at 12:30 PM ET, will be choosing between Miami, Michigan State, Missouri and Tennessee.

Michigan State and Tennessee, however, are the two reported front runners.

88% of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions (including my own) have Sapp committing to the Volunteers.

Tennessee’s 2015 class currently stands at 28 commitments. The Vols are expected to sign 29-30 players.

We aren’t quite sure how the numbers situation will work, but Butch Jones and his staff proved last year that they know what they’re doing when it comes to a big recruiting class.

Sapp would be a great addition for the Vols and a strong way to finish off the 2015 class……that’s assuming the Vols are done adding players.
