Vols Defensive back Riyahd Jones tweeted on Monday that he is in the process of transferring from Tennessee.

We already knew that Jones, who has graduated from Tennessee, wasn’t going to be back at UT next season, despite having a year of eligibility remaining.

Jones was part of Butch Jones’ first recruiting class at Tennessee, back in 2013. The JuCo transfer battled injuries from the time he arrived in Knoxville and played in only two games during the 2013 season. Jones didn’t play in any games in 2014.
The Georgia native started his college football career at Georgia Southern, where he started seven of the ten games in which he appeared.
Jones then spent the 2012 season at Garden City Community College in Kansas, before signing with the Vols in 2013.
