When your recruiting class includes two of the top defensive tackles in the nation, it’s easy to overlook a player like Quay Picou.
But Picou definitely shouldn’t be overlooked. The Georgia native may not be as highly touted as Shy Tuttle or Kahlil McKenzie, but he’s a very important piece to the Volunteers’ 2015 recruiting class.
The Vols will have some star talent at the defensive tackle position with Tuttle and McKenzie, but they still don’t have a lot of depth at the position. Picou will help to remedy that.
Picou will need to add some weight when he arrives on campus (he’s a bit light for a defensive tackle), but that shouldn’t be an issue as he’ll be working with Dave Lawson to bulk up.
