2017 Wide Receiver Offered By The Vols

Princeton Fant, a 2017 wide receiver from La Vergne, TN (Lavergne), recently picked up an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers, according to 247Sports.
Fant, 6’2″/190 lbs, has not been rated by 247Sports.
The offer from the Vols is the first for the Tennessee native.
Fant, a rising junior, hasn’t been highly recruited, but that doesn’t mean he lacks talent.
Butch Jones and his staff make it a point to “own the state”, but don’t think for a second that they just go around offering anyone from the state of Tennessee.
Jones obviously sees something he likes in Fant and it’s very likely he’s just ahead of the curve.
The offer from the Vols should shift some attention toward Fant, which means more scholarship offers should be on the way for the young wide receiver.
