Vols Recruiting: Abdul Adams Offered By Tennessee

2016 three-star running back Abdul Adams picked up an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers on Friday afternoon.

Adams is a 5’11″/200 lb running back from Washington, DC (Wilson W. Shs). 247Sports rates Adams as the seventh best player in Washington D.C. and the 42nd best running back in the nation.

Adams has notable offers from Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Rutgers, Pittsburgh and West Virginia, among several others.

Tennessee will posses one of the most talented running back duos in the SEC in 2015. But they don’t have very much depth behind Jalen Hurd and Alvin Kamara.

Adams is a player, with the Vols not have many “sure-fire” running back options beyond 2016, that would fill a huge need for Butch Jones and the Volunteers.
