Markail Benton Offered By Vols

2017 four-star outside linebacker Markail Benton was offered by the Tennessee Vols on Wednesday.
Benton is a 6’2″/214 lb outside linebacker from Phenix City, AL (Central). 247Sports rates him as the top 2017 player in the state of Alabama and the second best 2017 outside linebacker in the nation.
Benton currently has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Kentucky, Mississippi State and South Carolina.
100% of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions that have been made so far for Benton have the Alabama native committing to Auburn.
Butch Jones and the Volunteers are on a ridiculous recruiting tear through the southeast, but it’s going to be very hard for them to pull Benton out of the state of Alabama.
It can of course be done, but Vol fans shouldn’t hold out much hope for Benton to Knoxville.
