Vols Recruiting: Carlos Becker Offered By Tennessee
By Zach Ragan
2016 three-star cornerback Carlos Becker picked up an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday.
Becker is a 6’3″/185 lb defensive back from Kissimmee, FL (Osceola) that reportedly runs the 40 in 4.43 seconds. 247Sports rates Becker as 61st best player in the state of Florida and the 45th best cornerback in the nation.
Becker, at 6’3″, embodies what Butch Jones looks for in a cornerback — tall, fast and lengthy.
The Florida native wouldn’t be the player fans are most excited about in Tennessee’s 2016 recruiting class, but he would be a very nice (and underrated) addition.
Becker currently holds notable offers from Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, Michigan State, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Wake Forest, among several others.
All four of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions that have been made for Becker have him committing to the Seminoles.
