Vols Coaching Staff Spends Day With Jon Gruden

There’s no doubt that Jon Gruden loves him some Tennessee.

And just because he declined an (alleged) offer to become the Vols’ head coach doesn’t mean that he loves UT any less.

Gruden has made it a point to stay close to the school where he began his coaching career and met his wife (In case you’re somehow unaware, Gruden was a graduate assistant at UT from 1986-87 and his wife was a Vol cheerleader during that time period).

The former Super Bowl winning head coach has returned to Tennessee on numerous occasions, including several times during Butch Jones’ tenure as Vols head coach.

So it would make sense that Gruden invited the UT coaches that will be involved with the passing game next season, to a taping of his incredibly intriguing “Quarterback Camp” show.

Jones, along with offensive coordinator Mike DeBord, passing game coordinator Zach Azzanni and graduate assistant Nick Sheridan (specializes in working with quarterbacks), made the trip to Gruden’s “Quarterback Camp” office (And even found a power T among the memorabilia in Gruden’s office).
