Steve Spurrier taking jabs at Tennessee is nothing new.
In fact, it’s a well-entrenched tradition in SEC territory.
Even if you’re a Vols fan, you still have to enjoy the gamesmanship from the head ball coach.
(Here’s a fun look at some recent Spurrier jabs at UT)
Spurrier was apparently back at it during a recent conversation with USA Today’s Paul Myerberg.
HBC called 7-6 in 2014 "a decent year." Then: "In Knoxville, they’re still doing cartwheels because they went 7-6 and won a bowl game."

Spurrier is obviously referencing the fact that both South Carolina and Tennessee finished with 7-6 records last season.
7-6 was considered a successful season for the Vols, while it was considered a disappointment for the Gamecocks (plenty of folks had them winning the SEC East).
What Spurrier is not referencing, however, is the fact that he’s 0-2 against Tennessee the past two seasons.
Perhaps he should save his next quip for when he manages to beat the Vols again.
