Hamlin is a 6β1β³/175 lb cornerback from Pittsburgh, PA (Central Catholic). 247Sports rates him as the fifth best player in the state of Pennsylvania and the 17th best cornerback in the nation.
Hamlin, who currently claims 32 offers, also has notable offers from Clemson, Duke, Miami, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh and West Virginia, among several others.
It looks like Penn State might be the team to beat for Hamlin. 62% of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions have Hamlin committing to the Nittany Lions.
Hamlin has visited Penn State twice in the past two months. He also recently attended Notre Dameβs junior day.
It doesnβt appear that Hamlin is destined for Knoxville, but crazier things have happened.
