Vols Media Bracket: A Champion Is Crowned

The glass slipper fits!

Mark Nagi, a low seeded first-timer in the second annual “Vols Media Bracket” defeated Rocky Top Insider’s Daniel Lewis to claim the title of “King of Vols Media”.

Nagi, who certainly deserved to win based on his Oral History of Lane Kiffin’s Departure From Tennessee, used a strong Twitter following to blast his way through the five-round bracket.

We’d be remiss, however, if we didn’t give a shoutout to Daniel Lewis, one of the top reporters on the UT beat, who quietly navigated his way through the bracket all the way to the championship round.

A big thanks goes to all the media members who had some fun with our bracket. Folks like Brad Shepard, Reed Carringer and even Houston Kress (defending champ who gracefully stepped aside this year), among many others, made this a lot of fun.

And to all the folks that like to pretend like we don’t exist — don’t take yourselves so serious, it’s just sports.

P.S.

Mark Nagi, you better start your 2016 campaign now. The competition is going to be tough once again next year!
