"Over halfway through Tennessee’s spring session, defensive coordinator John Jancek said Thursday he is seeing too many lapses from his defense, which is missing a number of key players because of injury.Missing personnel like Derek Barnett and Curt Maggitt, two of the unit’s stars, has forced the coaching staff to innovate. With so many players out, the goal at the outset of spring practice seemed to be to do more with less.
