Vols Recruiting: Jeff George Offered By Tennessee

Jeff George, a 2016 wide receiver who attends Dodge City Community College in Kansas, picked up an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers on Thursday.
George, who at 6’5″/185 lbs has a frame similar to former Vol wide receiver Justin Hunter, hasn’t been rated yet by 247Sports. His only other reported offer, at this time, is from Arkansas State.
The Vols might have uncovered a diamond in the rough with George. It’s hard to tell just from his highlights, which only shows the good stuff, but he looks to have what it takes to play in the SEC.
George displays some good hands, field awareness and quickness in his freshman highlight clip.
Right now the Vols don’t have a lot of competition for the lengthy wide receiver, but that could all change once other programs take notice.
