Tennessee’s assistant coaches will make $270,000 more than they did in 2014, according a report from the Knoxville News Sentinel.

- Robert Gillespie — Running Backs Coach/Recruiting Coordinator — $50,000 — $355,000
- John Jancek — Defensive Coordinator — $40,000 — $520,000
- Tommy Thigpen — Linebackers Coach — $30,000 — $405,000
- Willie Martinez — Defensive Backs Coach — $25,000 — $380,000
- Steve Stripling — Defensive Line Coach — $25,000 — $410,000
- Mark Elder — Tight Ends Coach — $20,000 — $245,000
- Don Mahoney — Offensive Line Coach — $10,000 — $365,000
- Mike DeBord — Offensive Coordinator — N/A — $500,000
Mike DeBord’s salary is $20,000 more than Mike Bajakian earned as Tennessee’s offensive coordinator last season, making the up the rest of the added $270,000 in salaries.

Tennessee’s entire football coaching staff, including Butch Jones, only makes $110,000 more than Alabama head coach Nick Saban.
