2017 five-star defensive end A.J. Epenesa picked up an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers this weekend.

Epenesa, 6’5″/230 lbs, is from Edwardsville, IL (Edwardsville). 247Sports rates him as the top player in the state of Illinois and the top strong-side defensive end in the nation.
The talented Illinois native also has notable offers from Florida State, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and USC, among several others.
Epenesa took unofficial visits to Michigan and Notre Dame in the past two months.
There will plenty of competition for the extremely talented defensive end. Tennessee will have a lot of work to do if they want to be relevant in his recruitment.
