Guarantano, a pro-style quarterback from Oradell, NJ (Bergen Catholic), is the future of Tennessee. He gives the Vols a player that has the talent to be Heisman contender at some point during his career on Rocky Top.
Tennessee will have to do everything they can to hold on to him for the next ten months, but the good news for UT is that it doesn’t look like he’s going anywhere.
Guarantano told Bleacher Report that after committing, he plans to shut down his recruitment and enroll early at Tennessee.

Jarrett told me he plans to "shut things down" after this announcement and prepare to enroll early.
Jarrett Guarantano is the type of talent you win national championships with.
I’ve always believed in Butch Jones, but I’m really starting to believe that Tennessee is on the verge of doing something really, really special.
And I believe that time is coming sooner rather than later, thanks to landing players like Jarrett Guarantano.
