Vols Recruiting: Brad Hawkins Offered By Tennessee

2016 four-star wide receiver Brad Hawkins was offered by the Tennessee Volunteers on Monday afternoon.

Hawkins’ teammate Ron Johnson Jr was also offered by the Vols on Monday. Both Hawkins and Johnson received offers from Missouri earlier on Monday as well.

Hawkins, 6’2″/190 lbs from Camden, NJ (Camden), is rated by 247Sports as the 35th best wide receiver in the nation and the 187th best 2016 player in the nation.

The New Jersey native, who recently attended Rutgers’ spring game, has notable offers from Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Virginia Tech and West Virginia, among others.

64% of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions that have been made have Hawkins committing to South Carolina.

The Vols suddenly appear to be big players in the New Jersey recruiting scene.

Tennessee received a commitment earlier this month from four-star pro-style quarterback Jarrett Guarantano.

The Vols will face some tough competition for Hawkins and his teammate, but it looks like Tennessee has some solid connections in the state of New Jersey.
