Josh Smith Will Finish Second On The Team In Receptions

This really isn’t as bold of a prediction as it seems either.

Josh Smith, who missed most of 2014 with a sprained ankle, caught ten passes in three games before his injury last season.

Those numbers extrapolate to 43 receptions over 13 games, which would’ve been good enough for second on the team last season.

I don’t think Smith will pass Pig Howard for the lead in receptions next season, but I do think he catches the second most passes on the team.

The only problem here is that we didn’t get to see Josh Dobbs play with Smith at the end of last season. I don’t believe that will be an issue, but it will be interesting to see what kind of repertoire the two develop together.
