The Tennessee Volunteers unveiled their Gator Bowl (TaxSlayer Bowl) championship rings on Wednesday and they are niiice (as Christmas Vacation’s Cousin Eddie would say).

Some fans think the Vols should save the “bling” for winning the SEC or a national championship. But this isn’t something that’s unique to Tennessee. Just check out Northwestern’s rings from their Gator Bowl win in 2013.
Tennessee deserves to celebrate.
But come September, they better set their sights a bit higher.
