Bailey Phillips Decommits From Vols

2016 three-star cornerback Bailey Phillips announced on Tuesday that he’s parted ways with the Tennessee Volunteers.

Phillips, who is rated by 247Sports as the 93rd best 2016 cornerback in the nation, originally committed to Tennessee nearly a year ago in July, 2014.

The Texas native also has offers from Clemson, Houston, UCLA and Wake Forest, among several others.

It’s obviously disappointing for the Vols to lose a commitment, but fortunately for UT, some secondary depth has been built by Butch Jones and his staff.
