Robinson, 6’1″/185 lbs from Deerfield Beach, FL (Deerfield Beach), committed to Florida late last week (the same day the Gators offered him).
247Sports rates Robinson as a two-star cornerback and the 148th best 2016 cornerback in the nation.
The Deerfield Beach also has offers from Kentucky, Mississippi State and Wisconsin, among several others.
Robinson appears to be a bit of an under-the-radar player that other schools haven’t picked up on yet.
Butch Jones and his staff, so far, have done a solid job at identifying hidden gems like Robinson.
Unfortunately for Tennessee in this particular situation, it looks like Florida is ahead of the game.
It’s going to be very hard to sway Robinson from Gainesville.
