The Tennessee Volunteers picked up their first 2017 commitment on Sunday, as Jordon Riley made a decision to commit to UT.

Riley is a thee-star 2017 defensive lineman from Durham, NC (Riverside). 247Sports rates the 6’5″/295 lb recruit as the fifth best player in the state of North Carolina and the tenth best strongside defensive end in the nation.

Riley, who just recently took his first visit to Tennessee, committed to the Vols over offers from Auburn, North Carolina, NC State and Wake Forest, among several others.

This is the first 2017 commitment for the Volunteers.

Butch Jones is continuing to a build a defensive line that should be solid for years to come.
