Current Targets at Running Back Part II
Carlin Fils-Aime- Naples, Fla. (Naples H.S.)
A three-star prospect on Rivals, Carlin Fils-Aimie definitely has Tennessee in his Top Five, but it is hard to see the Vols jumping Miami to nail him along with jumping other schools like Auburn, Georgia, and UNC. Aimes is not the most valued prospect but he’ll add depth if Tennessee can get him.
JaQua Daniels- Atlanta, Ga. (Clark Central H.S.)
If he decides to leave Georgia, the Tennessee Vols could certainly be in play for JaQua Daniels. But based on reports right now, that is unlikely for the three-star prospect. And he’s more of a physical player, almost a fullback, than a running back. So he’s not great and is unlikely to go to Tennessee. Next.
D’Vaughn Pennamon- Manvel, Texas (Manvel H.S.)
A three-star prospect also out of Texas, D’Vaughn Pennamon will bring lots of diversity and depth to Tennessee if the Vols can pick him up. The 5’10” 210-pound prospect can play running back or wide receiver and would even make a great return specialist. He hasn’t narrowed his schools yet, but Tennessee appears to be high on his list as of right now.
Jalin Buie- Jacksonville, Fla. (Trinity Christian H.S.)
Jalin Buie is another three-star prospect out of Florida who stands at 5’8″ and about 180 pounds, but according to Rivals and 247 Sports, despite an offer, he has little to no interest in Tennessee as of right now. So there is really no reason to focus too heavily on him.
Deon McIntosh- Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (Cardinal Gibbons H.S.)
Another three-star prospect out of Florida, Deon McIntosh is one more running back it will be hard to lure out of going to Miami. But if the Hurricanes lose their grip on him, Tennessee could be in play based on information provided by 247 Sports and Rivals. As of right now, though, he is not worth wasting time to read about.
