Vols Recruiting: Cade Mays Commits To Tennessee

The Tennessee Vols added their first 2018 commit on Monday as 6’5″/305 lb offensive tackle Cade Mays committed to the Big Orange.
Mays is a Knoxville native that attends Knoxville Catholic. He hasn’t been rated yet by 247Sports.
The Tennessee native also has offers from Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, among several others.
That’s a pretty impressive offer list for a 2018 recruit, proving that UT didn’t take Mays just because he’s a local guy. This kid clearly has a lot of talent at a position where the Vols are still trying to build depth.
Mays is a very solid in-state pickup for Butch Jones and the Tennessee coaching staff.
