2. Joshua Dobbs Appears Comfortable as a Leader

Since he stepped on campus, Joshua Dobbs was a likable person. Once he came onto the scene at the end of the 2014 season, he began to turn into a beloved figure in Vol Nation.

He only added to that on Tuesday.

Dobbs appeared to have no trouble speaking up for the offense and naming out players, noting how much he will rely on Jalen Hurd and Alvin Kamara this year and how much faith he has in his elite wide receivers.

It seems as it Dobbs was ready from the start with a sweet suit and making clear to a media member when Kamara was brought up that they don’t really talk about Alabama, where Kamara came from, making sure to throw a dig in there.

And he also was clear to name himself the CEO of the offense as the quarterback. Dobbs has embraced the role, and he was able to control the interviews and media sessions. Being able to do that shows a huge leadership quality, and he was not phased at all by any jabs thrown at the Vols.

So Tennessee appears to be in good hands with Dobbs if he can stay healthy and continue what he did last year.
