The relationship is noteworthy with regard to Gloria Ray.Ray, who will be inducted into the hall on Aug. 4, said she learned to play tennis at the Boys Club while growing up in Knoxville.“It’s kind of a full circle thing,” she said.The Fulton High School graduate was the first women’s athletic director at the University of Tennessee and was a driving force behind bringing the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame to the city.
