Vols Recruiting: Rashad Wheeler Offered By Tennessee

2016 three-star defensive lineman Rashad Wheeler picked up an offer from the Tennessee Vols on Monday evening.

Wheeler is a 6’3″/286 lb defensive tackle from Pittsburgh, PA (Central Catholic). 247Sports rates him as the 22nd best player in the state of Pennsylvania and the 58th best 2016 defensive tackle in the nation.
Wheeler has notable offers from Boston College, Maryland, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Wake Forest and West Virginia, among several others.
Currently there are 14 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions that have been made for Wheeler and all of them have the defensive tackle committing to Pittsburgh.
It’s very doubtful that Butch Jones and the Vol coaching staff will be able to pull Wheeler out of the state of Pennsylvania.
